Downtown NYC location. Must be in office for first 30 days, then remote/ hybrid available. Contract may be extended.Our client is seeking an Email Security Engineer who will work within the Cybersecurity Engineering group who are responsible that email and all related network security technologies are designed, integrated, tested and configured to meet defensive efforts. The Email Security Engineer will be designing and implementing email filtering, DNS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and sandboxing including cloud-based email threat prevention platforms.
Minimum Skills6+ years of IT/email security experience in large enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of email delivery architecture, email gateway and DNS technologiesStrong understanding of networking, SMTP, DNSExperience with email security solutions in large, distributed environmentsExperience working with email threat prevention platforms in complex email delivery systemsExperience with sandbox technologies and platformsIn depth knowledge of DMARC, DKIM, and SPFPreferred SkillsCloud architecture and experienceLinux experience with account and group managementIn-depth knowledge of email messaging systems, system administration in email gateways, either Proofpoint Email Security Platform, Microsoft Exchange, Cisco Ironport or similar including in-depth knowledge of Exchange 2019 and Microsoft O365Familiarity with Azure Platform, AzureAD, Azure MFA, Azure Graph APIHigh Availability Architecture of email delivery systemsAbility to achieve goals with minimal supervision; self-starter; self-motivated and a capacity to get things doneSecurity and cloud certifications a plus (CISSP, CCSP, Google Compute Platform, AWS, Azure,etc.)- ID: #49053112
