Entry-Level Structural Engineering

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to be based in New York, NY.This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.

We take on the most complex challenges and pioneer innovative, iconic solutions that push the limits of what’s possible – the world’s longest cable-stayed bridge, record-breaking sports events, the largest greenfield port development megaproject, life-sustaining and disaster recovery programs, and the tallest tower in the Western Hemisphere.Responsibilities include:Preparing structural design utilizing hand calculations, Excel workbooks, and advanced structural analysis software to determine applied loading, demand requirements, and appropriate foundation and member specifications.Preparing structural technical sketches, drawings, specifications and reports under the supervision of senior staff.Exercising judgment in developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.  Coordinating with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.Performing condition assessments and site visits as needed.
