Environmental Acoustician

AECOM is seeking a noise and vibration scientist (NVS) to perform noise surveys and analysis and noise monitoring, and/or technical report preparation.  The position requires the NVS to design noise studies to gather the requisite field data to be input into noise modelling software. Responsibilities will also include:Use data provided by third parties and/or field collected data the NSV will execute noise models to determine noise levels for various projects.Conduct vibration studies and analyses.Manage large data bases and be able to produce technical reports and contribute to the preparation of environmental documentation to satisfy federal (NEPA) and state (e.g., SEQRA) requirements.This is a hybrid position located in one of AECOM's New York City or New Jersey Offices.  The position will require occasional field work in both urban and rural communities.
