EPIC Application Analyst

$90-100K + Signing Bonus – HYBRID role We have an excellent opportunity for an EPIC Application Analyst in the Utica, NY area. Our client is seeking an Application Analyst to design and build EPIC software applications.In this role, you will have primary responsibility for the design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support of software applications throughout a state-of-the-art healthcare system. Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support for the Healthcare applications
  • Investigate, recommend solutions, and implement processes and guidelines intended to reduce issues
  • Coordinate increasingly complex individual projects or work streams within the defined scope of the overall project
  • Complete tasks based on clearly defined project milestones and support requirements
  • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflows
  • Review and analyze system and performance indicators to locate problems and correct errors. Escalate problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution
  • Participate in version upgrades on a scheduled basis to keep applications and users current
  • Coordinate projects, schedule, and facilitate meetings to complete assignments
Background Profile:
  • Expertise in EPIC with an EPIC Application certification
  • BS degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related
  • 3+ years of work experience as an IT Analyst
  • Outstanding customer service skills
