Our elite Epic team is hiring a Product Manager for our Orders team. Preferred Epic modules: Inpatient Orders, ClinDoc OR AmbulatoryYour work as an Epic Product Manager can positively impact health outcomes including improving patient care!RESPONSIBILITIES:- The Product Manager will oversee a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts that provide customer service support on a 24x7 rotating basis.
- Work with the Service Desk and support personnel on escalated issues to identify problems and resolve them. Triage network, hardware, or workstation issues as required.
- Provide advanced application troubleshooting support for the application modules and associated third party systems. Resolve critical issues independently, as necessary. Forward issues to the correct group for remediation or elevate it to the vendor, if required. Review team resolutions and solutions for accuracy and completeness.
- Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users.
- Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements. Interpret requirements and evaluate operational workflow and utilize knowledge of the system to reveal potential issues related to user requests.
- Create/maintain system specifications from user requirements.
- Create/maintain application workflow documentation and associated test scripts for use in problem-solving or upgrades
- Participate in go-lives
- Create/maintain application profiles for support third party applications
- Participate on various integrated workgroups or client sessions
- Oversee, track, and implement all necessary enhancements to add or maintain functionality of the application utilizing departmental change processes.
- Managing a team of clinical IT professionals in an enterprise health care environment
- In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows
- IT troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Epic certification in a clinical module, Orders is preferred
- Supporting stakeholders that include physician and nursing leadership
