Job Description:

The candidate must be familiar with the engineering, design, and construction of substations and transmission facilities.
The individual must have prior experience in developing electrical, mechanical and or civil cost estimates for substations and/or transmission projects.
An understanding of the capital budget process and utility economics in the preparation of authorization and appropriation estimates is preferred.
Computer proficiency is required including knowledge of Microsoft Project/Office and estimating computer applications and databases.
Familiarity with local, state, national, and industry codes and standards is preferred.

Core Responsibilities Will Be

To develop complex, multi-discipline conceptual, authorization and appropriation cost estimates for multi-discipline substation construction projects and transmission facilities while developing estimates based on preliminary work scopes, drawings, and sketches.
