Job Title: ETL Tester With Python and MongoDB

Location: NYC (onsite)

Duration: 9 Mon C2H

Job Requirement: Over 5 to 6 years of ETL/Data testing experience. Hands-on experience in ORACLE database technologies Strong expertise in ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripting Experience with MongoDB and querying collections. Experience i Python scripting Relational database experience with expertise in writing complex SQL queries & joins to verify proper mapping of data elements and manipulating test data through SQL statements. Good knowledge in Unix/Linux Commands. Hands on experience using WinScp and Putty Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Expertise in Data validation and Data comparison. Well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Understanding of Agile methodologies (particularly SCRUM). Experience in ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing) Knowledge and experience in Metadata and Star schema/Snowflake schema. Proficient enough to Analyze Source Systems, Staging area, Fact and Dimension tables in Target D/W

Roles and Responsibilities includes: Review requirements and specifications, and defines test conditions Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes Experience in preparing Test Strategy, developing Test Plan, Detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by understanding Business requirements & attention to details, and developing Test Scenarios to support quality deliverable. Analyze and report test activities and results. Identifies and reports issues and risks associated with own work Experience using testing/quality assurance tools such as qTest and JIRA. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to varying audiences Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code Give mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it Prepare Summary Reports Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager on daily basis Contribute to Team Review Meetings Track work and report progress to team lead on a timely basis. Competent technical skills Ability to work in a team and individually. Financial domain experience is a plus. Best Regards
