Leveraging your expertise in experience design principles, devise and enact innovative policies and processes that elevate the user experience and resonate with our organizational strategy. Your role involves setting quality benchmarks, managing asset delivery, and shaping the direction of product initiatives by your team. A staunch advocate for inclusive design and accessibility, exemplify and encourage collaboration and lead your team in creating unparalleled experiences for our diverse user base. Your expertise in interaction design positions you as an advisor to senior management on complex experience design matters, promoting a culture of collaboration and inclusivity across multidisciplinary teams.In this role, you will be leading a Design team responsible for core money movement experiences across our digital channels. Our users have multifaceted, fast-paced, information overloaded jobs, within an already complex industry. The tools and experiences we design must add value with minimal additional complexity. To do our job well, we utilize creative design-led techniques and consumer-grade principles to help us break through the industry jargon and bureaucracy and find insights that others can't.Job responsibilities

Develop and implement user experience strategies in line with business objectives and apply your expertise in interaction design and information architecture

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of experience designers, fostering collaboration, and promoting professional development through coaching and performance management

Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge and user-centric approach

Design methods to incorporate insights gained from key performance metrics, utilizing data fluency to inform decision-making and optimize user experiences for diverse customer segments. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence decisions and champion user-centered design principles organization-wide

Foster digital transformation, educating partners and increasing the velocity and quality of collaboration between product, technology and design teams.

Drive and lead the definition of the overall product design process for highly complex functional business applications

Persuade and influence product strategy and tech partners with effective balance of inquiry and advocacy

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design, focusing on interaction design and information architecture

Advanced skills in visual design, storyboarding, and data fluency, capable of creating visually appealing and functional visual elements for digital products and services

Proven leadership in guiding and mentoring diverse teams of experience designers, fostering collaboration and promoting professional growth

Demonstrated success in inclusive design, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technology, to create inclusive experiences for diverse users

Proven understanding of market trends, product knowledge, and technological advancements, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive user experience outcomes

Strong skills in designing and delivering workshops to define conceptual solutions and implement a user experience platform strategy to serve diverse personas and segments in a complex domain

Experience in creating, presenting, and documenting proposed solutions which might include interaction models and flows, screen and component states, data and information hierarchies for desktop, web, hand-held form factors

Enjoy the multi-disciplinary and collaborative nature of matrixed product development and have methods for uncovering important contextual details to ensure we're solving the right problems

Experience in FinTech or payment platforms and have designed applications within complex business domains such as financial services, enterprise technology or management consulting.

You are passionate about understanding what end-users value and translating those insights to measurable value in production

You have experience delivering enterprise complexity with the simplicity of a consumer experience

You are experienced in leading collaboratively with Product and Tech partners to define and manage Agile backlogs balancing strategic discovery and value delivery

10+ years managing a variety of design talent / skills to achieve business impact and career growth.
