Experienced Bartender/Waiter

The Barnyard is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled part-time bartender to join our dynamic front of the house team. As a bartender/waiter, you will be responsible for delivering quality service while mixing, serving and presenting beverages in a high-energy environment. You will play a key role in maintaining the Barnyard’s representation of 5-star customer service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner.

Take orders, offer drink recommendations, and ensure high standard of customer service.

Maintain knowledge of the drink menu and daily specials or promotions

Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of bar area, including restocking supplies and maintaining equipment.

Provide guests with a welcoming, friendly, and memorable experience.

Handle cash and credit card transactions, processing payments accurately and following protocols.

Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and alcohol regulations.

Collaborate with fellow team members, including fellow bartenders/waiters to maintain smooth and efficient dining service during busy hours.

Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up the bar and cleaning up after shifts.

Qualifications:

Prior bartending experience is required.

Knowledge of classic cocktails and drink preparation methods

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

Weekend and evening availability is required

Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
