Job Description:

Responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions. Develops solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices. Ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and has developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Designs and develops and is accountable for feature delivery. Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality. Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt. Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team level. Acts as a liaison for production activities/issues. Works with Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria. Guides the team on work breakdown and execution. Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team. Guides team members with skills and practices (planning & estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices). Identifies skill and role gaps, and works with Technology Manager to address them. Works with Technology Manager in creating resource contingency plans where required. Individual contributor.

Overview:

A Feature Lead to work as the application manager for three applications and environment coordinator for highly visible and mission critical Global Trade Finance applications. They will manage assignments, work focus and deliverables, coordination across applications and environment while assisting Senior Technology Managers and a Release Train Engineer to apply strong leadership and direction ensuring the application teams meet all initiative and BAU commitments. As the application manager of three third party applications the individual will be responsible for all AIT, RISE, ADSM, etc. compliance and risk deliverables associated with these applications; will be working with the Line of Business (LOB), vendors, technical teams as needed. One of those applications is highlight visible revenue source for Supply Chain Finance and is starting a second phase of implementation of global expansion in APAC and EMEA requiring close collaboration with senior LOB managers. As the environment coordinator they will work with Senior Technology Managers, a Release Train Engineer, and other Feature Leads across several Agile teams, CTO partners, and L2 support groups to coordinate the planning and ensure consistency in the use of the environments during patching and upgrade activities, application changes and releases.

  • Perform business analysis. Research, analyze and document business processes and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Use Visio to generate business and data flow diagrams
  • Create SQL queries to collect data from various databases.
  • Perform data analysis by employing data analysis techniques that involve data aggregation, data manipulation, sorting, so that output conform to accurate and reliable information
  • Review and resolve quality assurance issues by working with testing team
  • Participate in user training and host UAT sign off discussion to get user sign off on requirements.
  • Plan and manage multiple strategic and short-term information technology projects.
  • Participate in product increment planning and identify key risks / dependencies and assess technology and business implications
  • Drive projects with Business stakeholders, Information Technology and Data Management teams and manage business expectations.
  • Oversee detailed execution of projects at every level - Requirements gathering, technical design, build and quality assurance
  • Create project status reports by gathering information from various technical and business partners.
  • Identify and manage project Risks, Dependencies and Issues and escalate to senior management in a timely manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
