Field Engineer

Job Title: Field EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Field Engineer to join our team on a large infrastructure project. This role is crucial for the effective administration of the construction contract and requires close interaction with the Contractor’s team. Responsibilities include providing oversight for all inspection and construction operations, monitoring conformance with Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Plans, preparing daily job progress reports, coordinating and scheduling necessary inspections, reviewing construction shop drawings, advising the Project Manager on construction problems and recommended corrective actions, monitoring the Construction Contractor’s activities, and reviewing schedules to ensure adherence.Hard Skills

Experience in inspection and document control

Familiarity with Primavera Contract Management (PCM) software

Knowledge in construction shop drawing review

Experience in large multidiscipline construction projects

Familiarity with NYC Department of Buildings inspections

Soft Skills

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong communication skills

Problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively
