Field Service Engineer

The position of Field Service Engineer travels to customer locations to perform professional service work including technical support, machine installations, repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance, upgrades, teaching and consultative work.

Perform as a technical resource to assigned duties in the Field Service department.

Respond to phone calls, emails and other forms of communication in the effort to address customer’s technical issues.

Possess excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify alternative solutions when faced with obstacles.

Travel to customer sites and be hands on as required resolving technical matters in the field.

Strong understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering principals with the ability to interpret schematics.

Understand PLCs logic, Temperature controllers and other controls components as required.

Ability to understand automation components including robotic teach point setups.

Possess understanding of mechanical functionality and experience in disassembly and assembly of components.

65% travel including international travel at times.
