Aerotek is hiring for a foreman -level commercial carpenter in the Rochester, NY area!Job Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 2-4 carpenters to complete commercial construction projects throughout Monroe County.
Perform high-quality cosmetic finishing, including trim, windows, doors, and drywall preparation for painting.
Measure and cut wood and metal to use for framing.
Utilize hand and power tools with expertise to achieve flawless results.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of projects.
Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3-5+ years in commercial carpentry.
Experience leading crews.
Metal stud framing experience.
OSHA 10 certification is a must.
Pay:
$31-$35/hour
Work Environment: Commercial construction sites.
Indoor environments that may not be fully heated or cooled.
Work hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, depending on the general contractor’s requirements.
