East-Tek Security Systems is looking for an experienced and responsible Alarm Installation Technician to add to our growing team.
Required Skills Include:
-Intermediate to expert level of knowledge of security and life safety equipment, including surveillance systems, burglar alarm equipment, and commercial and residential fire alarm equipment
-Intermediate level of low voltage electrical knowledge/experience (including rough wiring)
-Ability to work independently and with a team, and to follow directions
-Great customer service skills
3 years of experience is preferred, but we are willing to train
Other Requirements:
-High School Diploma (or Equivalent)
-A clean driving record
-Submission of a set of digital fingerprints to New York State immediately upon hiring, as required under N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 19 § 195.8 (East-Tek Security covers fingerprinting expense)
Responsibilities:
-Install, maintain, and repair fire and burglar alarm systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
-Conduct thorough inspections of fire and burglar alarm systems and components, ensuring proper functionality and code compliance.
-Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
-Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for system design and installation.
-Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly (or bringing the concerns to the relevant employee).
-Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of our installed systems.
Schedule:
Full Time: Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Compensation: Hourly (Starting at $20/hr for experienced applicants, higher depending on skill level)

Location:
Our office is located in Rock Hill, NY. You are responsible for transportation to the office, but travel to and from various job sites will be done in company vehicles.
