Fixed Income Production Support

MDMS is recruiting for a Fixed Income Production Support Specialist for an investment bank in NYC. You will be responsible for providing support for electronic trading platforms and applications and will work with trading & technology teams to keep platforms updated and running. You may also be involved in cutovers, updates, and architecture plans for multiple trading platforms at the bank. Please note that Visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role.Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a Production Support/Trading Platform Support role.
• Experience working on trading floors (including current role).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with FIX protocol, FX systems, trading applications and protocols, and ITIL best practices.
• Prior experience supporting Linux/UNIX/Windows systems, monitoring tools, networking tools, and devops/automation tools.
• Prior experience in Python, Shell Scripting, VBA, Java, or SQL is preferred.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
