Forklift Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Forklift OperatorLocation: Poughkeepsie, NYPay Range: $18 per hourShift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pmWhat's the Job?

Support the mission and goals of the organization while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers, ensuring safe handling of materials.

Sort and segregate raw materials, completing necessary documentation for all items received.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and work areas, following all safety and sanitation rules.

Perform housekeeping tasks to keep the area clean and safe, including equipment maintenance and trash removal.

What's Needed?

Ability to operate a forklift safely and in accordance with established safety programs.

General ability to read and fill out documents accurately.

Good math skills and ability to count multi-tiered items.

Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Forklift operation certification is required.
