Position: Front-End Developer

Location: Remote

Brief Job Description:

This position will be 100% remote.
As we migrate back to working in person, there may be occupational onsite work, there is no immediate plan to have onsite work as part of this position.
The client is building a new website that has been totally redesigned and the agency needs support in bridging the gaps between website design, CMS page building, content and development.

The Front-end Design/Developer will be given:

Visuals and documentation of the new website design, including high-fidelity wireframes and visual designs, along with fully developed webpages for reference
Raw content for lower-level pages that need to be formatted and optimized for the web
Pre-built page layouts, components and widgets in the CMS to be used for building pages
Extensive access to all relevant documentation

And asked to:

Build out the remaining pages for the website using available elements within the CMS
Use existing pages and available elements as inspiration to keep content stylistically consistent with our overall design
Identify gaps in the design and work with the UX Designer, Web Developer(s) and Content Specialist(s) to come up with solutions that are in keeping with the overall look and feel of the new website
Find the best ways to display the content to create dynamic and interesting pages that are optimized for the web, especially for a mobile experience

Qualifications and Experience desired:

2+ years of front-end development experience required
2+ years expertise and direct development experience with CMS required (Sitefinity preferred)
2+ years of experience with responsive web design, SEO, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap preferred
