At AWS WorkDocs we want to create a frustration free document creation and publishing experience that allows authors to focus on the content (self-sourced or crowd-sourced), while we mechanize the rest (incl. collaboration, approvals, formatting, style and polish).This is a greenfield, impactful charter as you will see the customer delight first hand. This opportunity will require you to partner with customers, product managers and UX designers to build a performant, delightful document creation experience. Key job responsibilities1) Collabarating with product management and UX designers to design the UX2) Collabarating with SDEs to design the APIs needs to power the UI3) Working with senior engineers across the org to design the state-of-art front end architecture for the product4) Building user experience and operational analytics so we understand the both customer and operational behaviors5) Writing highly performant, maintainable and extensible front-end code6) Interacting with customers for feedback and demobostration.About the teamInclusive Team CultureHere at AWS, we embrace our differences. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, C, or C#· 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design at the front-end of back-end of new and current systems.Experience working on multiple UI frameworkPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field· Hands-on Experience shipping products from concept to production and operating these productsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
