Doran Jones is looking for a seasoned frontend engineer who is confident in their own skills and, as an initial project, can help our client expand their e-commerce solutions. Operating in an agile environment, this engineer will drive the development and support of significant features and enhancements to our client’s platforms. They will also participate in ground up re-engineering of legacy solutions with cloud native technologies. Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has a strong web application development background, and mastery of a range of current technologies and development best practices. Responsibilities

Drive the development and support of significant features and enhancements to an e-commerce platform.
Participate in the ground up re-engineering of legacy solutions with cloud native technologies.
Collaborate on go-forward strategies that improve solutions, systems, and processes.

Required Experience

5+ years of writing code from scratch with Angular 10+ ( 2+ years MUST be with and preferable with Angular 11+)
5+ years of HTML5, CSS3, SCCS, Bootstrap, excellent manipulation and responsive design knowledge
5+ years writing code from scratch with Javascript and Typescript, good understanding of JavaScript DOM. Have hands on experience with Object Oriented JavaScript and design patterns
3+ years writing advanced algorithms, performing complex calculations and constructing complex sorting/casting and arrays
4+ years connecting the front to backend – APIs & Integrations, caching layer, proxies and other web services within the system.
Proficiency with building Single Page Applications
Have hands on experience with GIT including merging and branching
Experience with Agile Software Development projects
Experience with client-side performance considerations
Ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components. Familiar with test frameworks such as Jest and familiarity with Test Driven Development.
Through understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer proxies and other web services used in the system
Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently

Preferred Experience

Java or C#/.NET experience is a huge plus
Experience interfacing with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics a plus
Wireframe and workflow creation
