Description Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeepers for ongoing opportunities in the Greater Buffalo area. In this role you be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers
Prepare financial statements and reports
Process Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, prepare checks, invoice approvals, and wire transfers
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; reviewing for input accuracy and preparing monthly reports and journal entries, as needed
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Assist in the budget planning and management
Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting packages
Ensure compliance with all internal processes
Investigate reporting discrepancies/anomalies and communicate issues as they arise in a timely manner
Requirements
3+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative
Able to work under minimal supervision
