Description We are inviting applications for a bookkeeping role in our team based in HEMPSTEAD, New York, 11550-4926, United States. This role involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining records, and resolving credit-related inquiries in a growing company involved in the auto industry. Key responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records Address and resolve customer credit inquiries professionally Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate appropriate actions for delinquent payments Assist with billing and posting payments as part of the role Conduct bank reconciliation tasks regularly Make collection calls when necessary and manage accounts receivable Handle accounts payable and other accounting functions as needed Use accounting software systems efficiently for various tasks Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suites including Excel and Outlook for daily tasks.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites is necessary Experience with Microsoft Outlook is required Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is preferred Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations is required Experience in Billing Functions is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
