Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to work a 32 hour work week onsite in STATEN ISLAND, NY. This opportunity with with a reputable and growing company. Offering a 4 day work week, we are seeking someone to start immediately. Responsibilities: Contribute to the creation of financial reports and statements Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions Conduct credit assessments and assist in collections Reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts Assist in managing payroll, including processing timesheets and maintaining employee records Support the closing processes at the end of the month and year Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounting records Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Provide administrative support to the accounting department Utilize QuickBooks accounting software and ADP payroll software Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites is mandatory Ability to use Microsoft Outlook effectively is needed Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Must be able to perform Bank Reconciliations Experience in Billing Functions is neededRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
