Description We are inviting applications for the role of Full Charge Bookkeeper based in Island Park, New York. This role is integral to our team and offers a contract employment opportunity. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of bookkeeping, from managing accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliation and job cost reporting. Experience in the construction industry is required. Your proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced Excel skills will be crucial for this role. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounts payable and receivable activities Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Prepare job cost reports and analyze them for financial insights Utilize accounting software systems to process customer credit applications Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts Handle payments to unions and manage union remittance forms Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced financial data analysis Ensure compliance with all accounting functions and annual budget processes Perform cash flow analysis to optimize financial operations Use ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial managementRequirements Proficiency in a variety of Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in using Computerized Accounting Systems Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget Experience in Cash Flow Analysis Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
