MS Investment Management Technology (IMIT) Investment Management Technology exclusively partners with the Investment Management business division to design and develop systems and integrate vendor products to globally support full life cycle business processing. Activities include Portfolio Analysis, Risk, Trading, Operations, and Sales & Marketing. Investment Management (MSIM) Technology also provides holistic support and quality assurance across the suite of applications used in the MSIM environment.Opportunity with the teamis seeking an experienced full stack developer to join the Equity Front Office Technology team. The individual will work as part of the global development team, which is spread across 4 MSIM sites. The individual will help the team design, develop a modern technology stack to power our digital platforms aimed unlocking efficiencies for our Investment Teams and traders. As a front office developer, the individual will also work closely with the Equity front office team to solve operational problems and design strategic solutions to offer best class technology solutions to our Investment teams. We work with the followingtechnologies:1.C#/.NET technology using Winforms2.Java, SpringBoot micro-services3.Python4.Sybase5.Unix/LinuxYour responsibilities will include:1.Designing and develop applications using C#/.NET technology in Winforms (front end) and Java in the backend2.Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the teams goals. 3.Working independently using modern software development practices.4.Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.5.Leading with ideas and innovation.6.Managing communication and partnering with our end users to design solutions.Competencies:-At least 5 years experience developing C#/.NET applications.-At least 5 years experience developing Java applications.-Solid experience writing unit, component and integration tests.-Solid experience working with relational database.-Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.-Experience working directly with end users.-Strong understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments with a focus on Equities.-Strong computer science fundamentals.This role requires that all successful applicants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of the engagement and provide proof of such vaccinations within 3 days of commencement of services.- ID: #43350532
