Full Stack Java consultant in NYC

Java Developer for a hybrid work model in NYC, based on Banking. This can be a long-term consulting assignment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Expert with Core Java, Multi-threading and Spring Boot
  • Experienced in Microservices.
  • Strong Database experience
  • Scripting Unix/Python - is a plus.
  • Banking experience -nice to have but not a must.

    • OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced development along with the ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility to be able to switch between projects as needs demand.
  • Proactively pick up open tasks
  • The candidate will be working on sprints with weekly releases and required attendance at daily Team Meetings.
  • Work closely with a team member in other regions
  • Daily check in and summary update to line manager and team member
  • This would continue until they gain platform knowledge, can take ownership of the component and relationship with business/IT/production support.
  • Comply to standards of development and firm mandates.
