Full Stack .NET Web Developer NYC, NY Long Term Job Description: Developer will join a cross functional team responsible for a major enhancement of investment research application. Portfolio managers and analysts use this application to access company information, price, charts, earnings analytics and research notes. This application needs maintenance and enhancements in ESG and Earnings Analytics modules. Development of this application will use modern technologies including Angular 10+, .NET 5+, C#, ASP.Net Rest API, CSS, HTML5, Oracle, SQL Server and service-oriented architectures. We are seeking candidates who want to work in a highly visible and closely integrated cross-functional team. Responsible for developing robust and maintainable software, but will also have an opportunity to build (or apply) business knowledge of the investment management industry. Guide and participate in most phases of software development, from analysis and design (working with end users), through coding, testing, and deployment. Work with end users to define, design, and document system features and enhancements.- Plan development activities by creating wireframes, mockups, pseudocode, and contribute to technical specifications.
- Develop software that meets business needs and can still be easily maintained.
- Be accountable for deliverables - provide status reports of work completed, planned, and obstacles. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT related field:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, ideally within financial services
- Strong experience with Web programming including Angular 10+, ASP.NET Core Rest API, C#, .Net Core, CSS and HTML5
- Strong database skills with Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience integrating applications using Rest API's

- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
