Job Title: Core Engineering - Full Stack Programmer III

Tax Work Location: New York, NY

W2 Candidates Only.

Job Description: Location: NY once returning to office

Duration: 6 months, with the hope to convert to FTE for the right candidates

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Manager Notes:The day to day involves a lot of client work, they take inbound and go back and start building products. There's a shortage of hands on the team and the team is running tight to keep road map moving with a heavy roadmap ahead, they are looking for additional support. They want people who can help build products. Omni Channel Commerce-a project they'll be working on

Day to Day- Working on tasks assigned to them by the leads. They'll be working on software engineering tasks assigned in a sprint.

Must have: PHP and Javascript and React.

Previously worked in ecommerce industry or fortune 500 is a plus.

Summary:The main function of a full stack developer is to code for both front and back-end programming. The typical full stack developer will be able to design user interactions, and develop servers and databases for website functionality.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces.
  • Build software in the company stack using primarily Hack, Javascript, React and Python.
  • Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications.
  • Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support.
  • Identify, escalate and document production impact issues.
  • Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities.

Skills:
  • Proficient in software engineering programs such has PHP, Hack, Python, Java, C or similar • Ability to write self-documented code.
  • Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.
