MUST HAVE RETAIL BANKING EXP . Familiarity with Linux and virtualization/cloud and networking.All L2 experience.Understanding of distributed systems architectures.Deep understanding of Linux host networking. This will be considered a plus: Service desk tool process - we use Jira.Capable of growing towards L2 skillset and taking a hybrid L1L2 role. These will be your main responsibilities:Escalation from L1 based on severity.On-call 24x7 function with shift on-desk coverage for 24x7.It is a customer facing role.Triages incoming requests for severity and basic scoping and ensures customer response SLA is met.Can determine areas of code involved in an issue.Triages incoming request with detail scoping:Able to determine areas of solution which could be at fault.Able to determine what diagnostics are needed to resolve the issue.Able to resolve issues in general IT stack.May resolve issues directly with reference to documentation, lab repro, general IT stack.Mitigation of severity to lower levels.Can guide customer via screenshare in all supported platform operations including API.
