Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Global Privacy Program Manager for a F ULL TIME assignment with one of our premier Media clients in New York, NY. POSITION SUMMARY: Our client is looking for a privacy program manager/business analyst with privacy, technical and sector expertise to be responsible for implementation and operationalization of the Global Privacy program. This is a full-time role reporting to Global Chief Privacy Counsel. The Global Privacy Business Manager will work cross-functionally with our network, agencies and across the organization to identify and mitigate privacy risks for our agencies and employees. The ideal candidate is skilled in understanding, gathering, and implementing the company's privacy program requirements across a complex global organization, including overseeing the integration of privacy technology applications including OneTrust. The Privacy Manager/Business Analyst has a deep familiarity with global privacy and data protection laws and issues, and prior experience with the implementation and maintenance of privacy technology systems and applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Global Privacy program initiatives by developing scalable processes, policies and training in response to evolving legal requirements to support agencies' business objectives.
- Communicate requirements of Global Privacy program initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally with the company and agency teams to monitor, track and drive timely and thorough delivery of program initiatives.
- Partner with the OneTrust Technical Project Manager to support development, implementation and maintenance of privacy technology systems and applications to support the Global Privacy program, facilitate global consistency and reduce duplication of efforts by other internal stakeholders.
- Support development of guidance documents, master templates, training programs, communications and other materials for the company and its agencies or its clients that meet the Global Privacy program requirements and compliance with global privacy laws and regulations.
- Assist in identifying and documenting privacy risks and issues, including effective communication of these issues to the relevant agency teams and driving timely resolution of same.
- Support the Global Privacy team with responding to internal and external privacy compliance inquiries, audits, or stakeholder requests.
- Draft and edit documentation such as project plans, reports, analyses and other types of documentation to demonstrate accountability of the Global Privacy program.
- Monitoring, preparing and reporting on the ongoing initiatives of Global Privacy and other relevant internal privacy counterparts or cross-functional partners.
- Stay current on privacy laws and developments (e.g., regulatory, industry, consumer sentiment, etc.)
- Serve as an internal expert and resource for privacy compliance.
- Respond to policy and procedural questions.
- BA or BS degree
- 3+ years of project management or privacy compliance experience
- Experience with implementation of OneTrust platform
- Knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations, industry standards, codes of conducts, etc.
- Experience with AdTech/digital advertising and understanding of technical privacy issues (Preferred)
- Highly Organized: ability to manage high volumes of projects and information in a timely manner
- Experience writing business and functional requirements with specifications, including strong documentation skills
- Experience navigating cross-functionally in a complex, federated organization
- Professional Communication: ability to communicate across all disciplines and levels, internal and external, verbally and in writing
- Capable to support the U.S. and UK-based Global Privacy teams and manage flexible hours
- Strong Analytical Skills: In-depth understanding of how to interpret customer business requirements needs and translate them into application and process requirements
