DescriptionJob summaryAmazon Web Services Talent Acquisition’s Global Talent Intelligence (AWS TA GTI) Program is seeking a Global Program Manager. The AWS TA GTI Program’s mission is to accelerate the process of finding builders of all backgrounds using research and insights to enable Amazon Web Services Talent Acquisition (AWS TA) Teams to reach their strategic goals and AWS business partners to make informed talent decisions. The AWS GTI Program aims to be a force multiplier of talent for AWS TA by empowering recruiters and sourcers with research and talent intelligence, to create efficient talent strategies for today and cultivate talent pools to support our growth tomorrow. The Program Manager will deliver global strategic projects and programs across AWS TA recruiting teams, driving scale into the sourcing process and change management across the org.Successful Program Managers within this group are big thinking innovators who move fast, have an unrelenting tenacity to get things done, are keen operators and are capable of breaking down complex problems to make data-driven decisions that best serve customers. If innovation, diving deep into data, influencing and motivating talented people, and partnering globally with cross functional teams to build capabilities to automate and accelerate solutions for other Amazonians excites you, then this is the role for you!Key job responsibilitiesOverall role responsibilities include:· Exhibit strong project management and relationship management skills to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders including the AWS recruiting teams.· Work closely with the AWS TA Leadership team, as well as the product and recruiting teams to lead and execute the global project roadmap.· Collaborate with recruiting operations, data scientists, and business leaders to define business processes and provide project management support.· Lead and participate in cross-functional teams through process and policy design, delivery, and implementation of new tools and services.· Communicate verbally and in writing to business customers / leadership to sharing insights and recommendations.· Create and communicate project roadmaps and launch plans and present project status to global leaders.· Surface roadblocks and propose alternatives to Sr. Leadership at the local and global levels.· Naturally "Earn Trust" by delivering on commitments and always keeping in mind the end-user.· Facilitate global workshops to coordinate the collection of global business requirements including process deviations and localizations; prepare global process maps and documentation.· Share best practices with recruitment teams and partner cross-functionally with other AWS TA Teams to create processes that impact positive candidate engagement.· Write narratives that are both project based (deliverables, timelines, formal tracking processes, etc.) and program based tailored to the audience in order to maximize impact and understanding.· Influence and educate peers regarding research and sourcing best practices that lead to successful outcomes throughout AWS TA and Amazon TA.· Support the rollout of new tools and systems to global teams including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, training materials and post-launch support resources.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· 5+ years of experience in program or project management· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership· Bachelor's Degree· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements· 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects· 5+ years of experience in program or project management and/or management consulting· 4+ years of building and managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs or projects with considerable country or global impactPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· MBA· Experience in market intelligence and/or competitive intelligence· Comprehensive understanding of the recruitment life cycle with particular expertise in both passive and active sourcing· Excels in an ambiguous environment while consistently delivering the right results with limited guidance under aggressive deadlines against multiple projects at one time.· Self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit with understanding of how to use data and calculated risk-taking to drive innovative change· Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, QuickSight, Salesforce etc.)· Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role.· Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
