Come and join us as a Global Project Manager at Pall Corporation.The Global Project Manager is responsible for leading high-tech projects and launching new products in the rapidly expanding MicroElectronics business at Pall. The role is embedded in the core of the Technology Team incorporating R&D, Engineering and Project Management and reports to the Vice President of Technology. The position is empowered to manage a multi-disciplinary team from across the whole business unit and has high visibility across the company. As such, there are numerous learning and growth opportunities for successful Project Managers. The position is located remotely but ideally within the Eastern time zone of the US with reasonable access to our sites in Cortland, New York and Long Island. The role will include significant coordination with engineers at our site in Japan so flexible working hours are expected. Up to 25% travel both nationally and internationally are required as the project demands.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead global cross-functional teams including members from R&D, Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing within New Product Development (NPD) programs

Formulate and maintain project schedules and budgets, escalating issues in a timely manner

Communicate regularly and clearly to Microelectronics leadership and Executive sponsors

Participate in technical brainstorming and prioritize pathways for successful development

Understand the voice of the Customer and apply this within NPD projects

Utilize sound technical fundamentals like Design of Experiments (DOE) and implement Danaher Business Systems (DBS) within the NPD process.

The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with 5 to 7 years’ experience of industrial technology development

Experience in professional Project Management with cross-functional teams of a global nature and exposure to Stage Gate processes

Experience in structured problem solving and excellent oral/written communication skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Collaborating with Asian cultures in a work environment and/or speaking Asian languages

Semiconductor Fab processes, equipment and understanding microelectronics quality expectations

Business experience and/or an MS/MBA degree or PMP qualification

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
