DataQuery is a flagship data analysis platform for J.P. Morgan's Corporate and Investment Bank and is responsible for distributing multi-asset datasets to 1,500+ clients globally. DataQuery is a commercial product that provides users access to premium data content and multi-channel connectivity in order to access and analyze datasets sourced from across J.P. Morgan's Research and Trading divisions. DataQuery provides critical pre-trade analysis workflows to portfolio managers, traders and quantitative researchers and delivers data programmatically to fulfil the data needs of asset managers and hedge funds.Job SummaryAs a Vice President on the DataQuery Product Solutions team within Global Research, you will join a leading and transformative team that is responsible for the development and delivery of best-in-class Markets content. You must thrive in product management, possesses a commercial mindset and maintain and build strong client relationships.Responsibilities

Partner closely with internal consumers and external clients to understand their needs, define the product roadmap and contribute to increased product usage and revenue.

Leverage your commercial mindset, build strong relationships with existing clients and partner with senior internal stakeholders and prospective clients to achieve new business.

Build a strong partnership with 30+ internal data providers to deliver best-in-class content to users who rely on J.P. Morgan data for a range of use cases.

Define and manage the build out of new product tools including dataset monitoring and client communications to enhance the overall client experience.

Expand upon existing product analytics and partner with technology to distribute product reports to paying clients on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.

Provide technical product demos to showcase the power of available data at an asset class and instrument level via web, API and other systematic channels.

Digest and translate client questions regarding data distribution channels and data content. Ensure responses are delivered in an accurate and timely way due to the time-sensitive nature of product content to clients.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

7+ years of experience in a front office markets role in an Investment Bank, Asset Manager, Asset Owner or a specialist vendor offering products directly to clients.

Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to influence clients in a professional way, making sure all issues and opportunities are promptly and effectively addressed.

Solid securities and markets industry knowledge including fixed income and/or equity product understanding.

Display a strong work ethic, attention to detail and operate with a sense of urgency to resolve product issues.

Energetic self-starter that takes initiative and has demonstrated effectiveness working independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the commercial data landscape and generate ideas for providing best-in-class products.

Demonstrable experience in the digital product landscape, working with Technology, Client experience and Design teams and other cross-functional teams to deliver products.

Structured and analytical approach on data driven product management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Experience in the latest Enterprise Technologies (e.g. data storage, third-party cloud, Python for data analytics use cases) is preferred.
