DescriptionAs a Global Sr. Marketing Manager of Content at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will be a pivotal player in driving customer engagement and enhancing the brand's visibility on a global scale. This role is specifically tailored for a strategic thinker who will excel in crafting compelling narratives, developing content strategies, and overseeing the creation of impactful stories for AWS public sector events and keynotes.The role serves as the lead for the organization's customer engagement and activation in global events, and requires exceptional event management, relationship building, and project management skills. This team member will advocate for a bar raising customer experience and set the foundation and framework for content strategy and growth, while supporting global collaboration across AWS.This highly motivated, extremely organized individual must have experience developing strategy, leading complex initiatives, delivering global programs, and influencing to drive decisions. They will utilize their attention to detail, event experience, project management, and excellent written communication skills to ensure high quality results.Key job responsibilities Develop content strategies which highlight key customer stories to drive leads and engagement, fostering deeper connection with the AWS brand. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional teams to ensure the delivery of high-impact, relevant, and cohesive messaging across all event-related content. Manage production and delivery of AWS event deliverables related to content development, customer coordination, operational execution and reporting. Oversee customer and speaker management including: event communications, content creation, scheduling reviews and rehearsals, and providing virtual or on-site speaker support for events. Create comprehensive event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, and escalate risks and challenges appropriately. Manage leadership reviews, weekly project meetings, and event check-ins. Ability to travel (20%-30%) and work across time zones.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Austin, TX, USA | New York, NY, USA | Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Outstanding relationship building skills with the ability to motivate, inform, and cultivate customers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience developing and executing events across a multitude of regions and languages

The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
