Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Grant Analyst in the non-profit industry, based in New York. This role involves managing a portfolio of grants, preparing and submitting budgets, and providing audit support. Responsibilities: Manage assigned grants portfolio, ensuring all grants are handled in compliance with funder guidelines Review, prepare, and submit accurate grants budgets to the funders Take responsibility for prompt and accurate billing to the funders Analyze and modify grants in accordance with funders guidelines Support audit processes related to grants management Ensure closure of grants in a timely and efficient manner Generate reports from Blackbaud Financial Edge database Leverage analytical skills to review and process program budgets Utilize familiarity with funders portals such as HHS Accelerator, PASSPort, Grants Gateway, SFS, etc. Handle budget modifications and close-outs as necessary Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and CRM Experience with Crystal Reports and Great Plains (GPAC) is required Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions and Auditing Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Budget Processes Experience in managing Cash Activity Understanding of Government Grants and Private Grants Strong skills in Contracts and Contracts Finance Ability to navigate and adhere to the regulations of the Non-Profit industry Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
