Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of division building and related property.$21-$24/hour to start!Benefits Day 1Night Position: M-F 4pm-2am OT requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo direct sanitation workers who are members of a cleaning crew whose duties are to clean and sanitize the food processing plant to meet food safety, and quality standards of US Foods as well as any regulatory body. Sanitation workers are expected to disassemble, and clean processing equipment without causing damage and maintaining organization of multiple parts. Sanitation worker is required to visually inspect the equipment and processing areas for cleanliness.The cleaning crew is required to work within a team to completely clean and sanitize the plant quickly. Responsible for completing any and all required paperwork which must be legible and accurate prior to submission. Sanitation workers are required to work in an environment that is wet, very humid and undergoes extreme temperature changes, from very hot to very cold. Sanitation will also be working around processing equipment in which chemicals will be used to complete the sanitation process.The Group Lead must be able to support the and work with the team along with other members of the crew and be flexible and willing to perform additional varying tasks per the FSQA Manager's instructions and in accordance with all production and safety guidelines.Perform all duties in compliance with USDA, DDA, OSHA, state and/or local regulations. Company policies and procedures include: safety guidelines and the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and must be adhered to.Sanitation empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable. May clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, to include break rooms, rest rooms, test kitchens, offices, etc. Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas along with any additional duties as required by the supervisor. SUPERVISION The incumbent will provide direct supervision to the Sanitation Workers assigned to that location. RELATIONSHIPS The incumbent is required to interact with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels of responsibility throughout the company in a professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or GED preferred; basic reading , writing and math skills. Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F- 45°F. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment. 1 year experience working in sanitation in a production environment.

Related Experience : Previous sanitation experience preferred.Able to read and write legibly; follow orders; work with little or no direct supervision and have basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Experience with food manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, or SSOP’s is preferred but not required. Must adhere to USDA Safety and Sanitation regulations for food safety requirements. Must be able to work 2pm until o completion Monday thru Friday.

Physical Requirements: Frequent Standing, walking, stooping, squatting, bending, reaching above shoulders, grasping and manipulating objects. Occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying up to 80 lbs and climbing and/or twisting.
