Group Leader - OperationsJob DescriptionAs a Group Leader - Operations, you will be leading a team responsible for support functions of the Quality Control (QC) and Method Development and Analytical Services (MDAS) laboratories. Your team's functions will include procurement, inventory and materials management, housekeeping and facility maintenance, equipment maintenance and calibration, management of retains and controlled substance, and other administrative functions. You will ensure all functions of your team are conducted in a manner consistent with applicable SOPs, industry standards/regulations, and cGMP regulations. The Group Leader - Operations reports directly to a laboratory Manager or Director and leads a team consisting of laboratory assistants, control center technicians, metrologists and other administrative and technical staff engaged in supporting the QC and MDAS laboratories.Hard Skills
BS in science field required, chemistry preferred
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required
Leadership and management skills
Knowledge of SOPs and regulations
Experience in procurement, inventory and materials management
Experience in housekeeping and facility maintenance
Experience in equipment maintenance and calibration
Ability to manage retains and controlled substance
Experience in administrative functions
Ability to develop and maintain relevant key performance indicators
Soft Skills
