Hair Assistant Position

At Evelina Beauty Salon, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional hair services in a professional, welcoming environment. We’re looking for a motivated Hair Stylist Assistant to join our team and support our stylists while keeping our salon organized and running smoothly.

Position Summary:

The Hair Salon Assistant will support our licensed stylists, ensure a clean and professional salon environment, and help with front-of-house and behind-the-scenes tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in the beauty industry and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced salon.

Key Responsibilities:

Shampoo clients using our signature technique to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience (training will be provided)

Offer general client support, such as providing refreshments, making sure they are comfortable or if they need anything.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized salon environment (stations, sinks, tools, towels, floors, etc.).

Prepare and restock salon stations, tools, and retail products.

Assist stylists with behind-the-scenes support (mixing color, prepping tools, organizing supplies).

Help with administrative and inventory tasks as needed.

Shadow and learn from licensed stylists to gain salon experience.

Qualifications:

Passion for the beauty industry and interest in hair services.

Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable and punctual.

Applicants must either have a valid cosmetology license or be currently enrolled in a cosmetology school.
