Job Title: Field & Crop Care Crew Member

Position Overview:

TalentWave is seeking Field & Crop Care Crew Members to join our team at our Oneida County farm. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper handling, harvesting, and processing of perishable crops in accordance with company standards. Your work will directly contribute to meeting customer demand with the highest levels of quality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

Follow all company standards for timing, quality, and productivity.

Work flexible hours, especially during harvest periods.

Operate equipment only if trained, and always follow safe operating procedures.

Handle all tools and equipment with care and respect.

Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in line with food safety guidelines.

Adhere to all company policies, including safety, health, and conduct standards.

Monitor and report pest or disease issues to your supervisor, including type, location, and severity.

Be punctual and accurately log hours using the company’s time-tracking system.

Support various tasks as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Previous experience in a greenhouse, farm, agriculture, landscaping, or produce-related role preferred.

Self-motivated with a positive attitude; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Open to taking direction and adapting to changing priorities.

Willingness to work flexible hours, particularly during peak seasons.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor environment with exposure to a variety of weather conditions including heat, rain, cold, and snow.

Must be physically capable of performing manual tasks in these conditions.
