Req Number 135874Job DescriptionAssists in the maintenance, planning and implementation of the department's programs and services. Organizes, coordinates and implements programs and events to educate, develop and foster public interest, understanding and good will in the community.Job Responsibility
Identifies and formulates areas for program development; coordinates and implements programs that will result in close community identification for the System and the Hospitals.
Addresses community, civic, business and service organizations; represents the hospital in community activities.
Plans and implements programs including, but not limited to: fairs, seminars, training programs, conferences, workshops and public forums.
Identifies funding sources, initiates and participates in grant writing and fund raising opportunities.
Initiates development of public relations tools to heighten community awareness of the hospitals.
Designs, coordinates and implements the Community Wellness program; plans, develops and designs program brochures, newsletters and displays; assists in production of the department's health information newsletters.
Ensures the information provided is current and at the appropriate level.
Oversees layout, design and distribution of the final product.
Maintains policy and procedures that meet the needs of the system and the department; keeps staff apprised of relevant information.

Job Qualification
Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
