Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II, based in Buffalo, New York. As a part of our team, you will serve as the first point of contact for all employees seeking technical assistance, providing Level I and II end-user support of Information Technology. Your role will also involve new systems deployment and providing end-user support for all hardware, software, telecommunications, and audio-visual training and support.Responsibilities: Act as a first point of contact, providing end-user support for all hardware, software, telecommunications, and audio-visual equipment. Troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain personal computers and other hardware devices including servers, audio-visual equipment, pagers, phones, etc. Image, configure, test and deploy corporate-owned devices including but not limited to laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Conduct one-on-one formal and informal training sessions for computer users and create learning materials to support training. Assist in the implementation of hardware and software applications. Provide timely, appropriate, and knowledgeable responses to end-user issues, creating a stress-free atmosphere for users to ask questions and share concerns. Promptly and accurately reply to IT help desk tickets. Exhibit strong communication skills both within the IT Department and with other departments at all levels. Demonstrate the ability to apply technology in a clinical environment. Handle diverse work problems on a daily basis with the ability to resolve problems and handle conflict as part of a team.Requirements Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role in customer support. Proficiency in using Active Directory. Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Apple operating systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. Exceptional customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly and patiently. Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Willingness to participate in providing after-hours support on a rotating schedule. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
