Human Resources Coordinator

Salary: $20-$25 an Hour

5 Days in office- Temp to Perm

General Administrative Responsibilities include:

1. Assist with the processing of background checks on new hires

2. Schedule interviews between manager and temp candidates

3. Assist with the implementation of the new HR recruitment and onboarding system

4. Assist the HR Directors with daily responsibilities

5. Prepare reports, as needed

6. Manage recordkeeping of employee records as well as applicant tracking

7. Maintain record of hours worked for part-time and variable hour employees

8. Update and maintain pension database

9. Assist with required annual benefit mailings

10. Schedule employee benefit meetings and events via Zoom and/or Teams and track responses

11. Scan documents into ADP (online filing system)

12. Answer general HR queries

13. Assist with all general correspondence

14. Perform general administrative work, which include filing, scanning, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, opening and distributing mail, meeting setups and greeting visitors.

15. Work on special projects as assigned

16. Handle other duties as assigned

Professional Development Support:

Manage logistics for Orientations, and Professional Development Trainings

1. Provide list of participants and managers to the Sr. Director, Training and Development

2. Email invitation to participants and track RSVPs

3. Create Zoom link to include in email to participants

4. Schedule follow-up "Meet the Team" sessions

5. Send evaluations to participants

6. Attend session to monitor chat or troubleshoot during session

7. Register colleagues for trainings (when appropriate)

8. Share resources with colleagues who request professional development

9. Track staff attendance at trainings

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred

2. Two plus years of relevant experience

3. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom & Outlook)

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, tact and diplomacy

5. Dependable, with a good work ethic

6. Working knowledge and prior experience with HRIS and Time and Attendance systems (ADP & Replicon) is a plus

7. Strong figures aptitude

8. Respect for and adherence to confidentiality is required

9. Excellent organizational skills, including accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through

10. Positive attitude

11. Passion for the mission

12. Knowledge of LinkedIn recruitment tools a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
