Immediate Hire Security Officer

Security officer position is for hire.

We are in search of responsible, serious, licensed security officers with a commanding presence to work in the SoHo area.

Responsibilities:

- Establish strong presence

- Assist with compliance of company, local, state and federal safety directives

- Report safety issues, such as fire hazards, vandalism, theft and suspicious or criminal activity

- Avert inventory losses by reporting missing items, inconsistencies and damaged property

- Warn staff of possible rule-breaking, and eject those who violate rules or cause disturbances

- Keep an eye on the entrance and exit to prevent theft and ensure workplace security

Qualifications:

- Proven LEADERSHIP

- COMMANDING PRESENCE

- Experience as a BOUNCER PREFERRED

- Emotional intelligence and good character judgment

- Verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to assess your own behavior, while also paying attention to employees, patrons and visitors

- Listening skills

- A high school diploma or equivalent

- Willingness to learn and enforce safety procedures

- Comfort with directing people or taking up leadership responsibilities

- Attention to detail

- Ability to operate emergency equipment and detection devices

- NO criminal record

- Fully licensed by the state

- Black suit is REQUIRED

The location for this position will be in the SoHo area. And our base pay is $19.5 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking to hire both FULL TIME and PART TIME Positions are available IMMEDIATELY.
