Import Apparel Production Manager

Import Production Manager needed for Junior Apparel Company.

Job Description:

-Daily communication with overseas factories to ensure goods are being produced on schedule and as requested.

-Work with factories to price new styles.

-Communicate with Merchandiser and Design Dept to solve challenges on product development.

-Manage the development, ordering and tracking of samples from prototype through development.

-Maintain time and action calendar for samples, lab dips, fabric approvals and lab testing.

-Prepare, send and track various approvals to buyers.

Requirements:

-At least 3-5 years experience as an import production manager in the apparel wholesale market.

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment while being detail-oriented and organized.

-Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
