Income Tax Preparer

Our small, local firm is looking to hire a tax preparer with at least 2-3 years of experience. Although you won't have to sit with clients you will still interact with them frequently. This role has become essential to helping our clients as more and more choose to upload or drop off their documents.

The following abilities are necessary for this role:

There are several advantages to working for a smaller firm. Because of our extended office hours during tax season, we provide a fairly flexible schedule. Although not necessary, Saturday hours are available. We automatically develop a family bond and collaborate closely as a team. Additionally, having the chance to work on each tax return from start to finish will make you a more skilled preparer.

This initial employment is for this tax season but the hope is that you would wish to return year after year so that you may have a deeper understanding of our clients and ourselves. Summer hours could also be possible, but these would be more limited since our office hours are shortened throughout the summer.

For the first year, the wage rate would start at approximately $20/hour (based on experience).
