  • Manage the clearing and settlement of Foreign equity trades. Some involvement with Fixed Income clients.
  • On average support 1,600 trades a month supporting 21 equity clients across 35 markets.
  • Work closely with the equity sales desk providing performance feedback of the clients we support.
  • Maintain close relationships with each client, understanding their specific needs and how we operate.
  • Provide daily reporting to clients
  • Have a Strong Knowledge of Broadridge (GFW; Impact; Gloss; Postedge)
  • Understand Firm Balancing and Stock Reconciliations utilizing BPS tools
  • Understand Broadridge Global Processing Solution (GPS)
Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of settlement efficiency and Market knowledge so our Clients have the confidence to grow their business with us.
  • Minimize risk and exposure for both our clients and the firm.
  • Keep a close relationship with our clients so they understand how we operate and what special needs they may have.
  • Train Clients on how to use our systems and make necessary changes per Clients needs to the reporting we provide.
  • Verifying cash and stock reconciliations making sure no items become too aged.
  • Make sure staff is operating efficiently and listening and acting on any suggestions they offer to improve the process.
  • Making sure to be up to date on any changes in local market practices.
  • Interface with both internal and external audits for Foreign Equity Business.
  • Manage and perform both back office and middle office settlement functions (trade allocations, cancels and rebills reporting , bank reconciliations)
  • Manage all International equity settlement activity, trade allocations and trade corrections for all equity clients
  • Direct point of contact for all International equity Clients
  • Manage all system enhancements for the equity processing system
  • Create and Maintain International Equity Operations procedures
  • Liaise with clearing counterparties, agent banks, and correspondents to resolve all trade discrepancies
  • Ensure settlements in a timely manner to avoid buy in costs and market fees
  • Responsible for managing the equity cash and stock reconciliations.
  • Process daily clients FX requests and wire transfers
  • Assist in supporting the Fixed Income business, helping with client inquiries and trade reporting
  • Manage the Operations training when onboarding a new International Equity Client.
JOB REQUIREMENT Within the defined area of responsibility ensure the following as it pertains to the position and where applicable: Risk Management:
  • Perform due diligence in daily job to monitor risks and to prevent risk events from occurring. Manage daily responsibilities within risk governance framework, and policies and procedures of the firm. Take responsibility for identifying and reporting any risks.
  • Possesses the appropriate risk management and internal control capabilities/skill set for the position.
Compliance & AML:
  • Perform daily role in line with the Company's policies, procedures, WSPs and in compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations to avoid and/or mitigate any regulatory risks.
