Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12 month + contract position. Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant financial industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with PMP Certification
  • Ability to clearly articulate and translate technology concepts, processes and deliverables into business-facing documents suitable for senior management consumption
  • Excellent attention to detail used for developing and revising project documentation and artifacts
  • Excellent planning skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with large programs
  • Excellent ability to make decisions and take timely independent action in pursuit of priorities
  • A flexible, hardworking and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities
  • The ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users
  • Experience interacting with a demanding senior leadership team
  • Strong understanding of batches and regression testing
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Ability to engage stakeholders in Trading Desk
  • Project Management
  • Financial Asset Management
  • Business Development

Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of financial products such as structured notes and derivatives and its risk management is highly desirable
  • 10+ years of relevant financial industry experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Master's degree, preferably with PMP Certification

Pay Range: $39.09-$47.09
