- Serves as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone, email or visiting your desk.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves technical system, hardware and/or software issues.
- Manages mobile device management software and company provide smartphones to all employees
- Runs weekly health check on system, network and application including Hard Disk Drive free space, backup system, etc. and reports to the client's IT team
- Maintains automated security patch system.
- VMware environment, Windows 10 - MDM & corporate mobile phone management
- Provides orientation to the client’s new hired helpdesk employees.
- Provides IT orientation to the client's new hired employees
- Provides efficient and appropriate resolution and excellent customer service.
- Escalates unsolved complex issues to appropriate personnel in timely manner.
- Maintains records including technical issues inquired and provided resolutions.
- Provides feedback received from end users to the superior.
- Identifies and suggests possible improvements on procedures.
- Maintains professional and good-natured relationship with end users.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by superior.
- Performs, collects and updates necessary documentation, filing and listing.
- Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning & printing, sending/receiving fax and letters etc.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to manager(s) and works to resolve those issues.
- Complies with all company and the client’s policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field, preferred.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in IT technical support, helpdesk or similar position.
- Good knowledge of VMware, and experience using it in a professional setting
