IT/Network AdministratorGrowing software company looking for a multi-faceted individual to serve as part of our IT/Network Admin team. Applicants must have experience in designing, installing, and maintaining systems, firewalls, and networks. Individual must be a self-starter, interested in learning new technologies and must be able to work unsupervised in a demanding environment. Familiarity with the NIST 800-171/CMMC 2.0 security framework or other areas of IT audit/compliance/risk assessment is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum of (3) years of experience as a Systems/Network Administrator
  • MUST possess at least one of the following professional certifications:
    • CISM, CEH, CISSP, CISA, Security +, or Network+
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
  • Familiarity with using Group Policy and Ansible for configuration management
  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere and ESXi is

    plus
  • Familiarity with K8S (Kubernetes) is a

    plus
  • Storage Area Network experience is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with docker is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with CVS/GIT is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with DUO Beyond is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with Proofpoint Email Security Suite is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with Knowbe4 PAAS is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with Hashicorp Vault is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with Jenkins CI is a

    plus
  • Familiarity with CrowdStrike or any next-gen AV is a

    plus
  • Experience with FortiGate Firewall is a

    plus
  • Experience with monitoring/maintaining automated vulnerability and patch management systems such as Nessus and Manage Engine Patch Manager is a

  • Experience with SQL and database management, administration, and scripting is a

    plus

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure security configuration and patch management of 40+ workstations and 250+ servers (Windows, Linux, ESXi)
  • Troubleshoot network/security related issues using in house SIEM and Crowd Strike Falcon Complete Managed Service and respond/react accordingly
  • Create and maintain firewall policies and perform firewall log analysis
  • Ensure successful backups of core databases using Veem and MS SQL backup tool
  • Deploy code and data to staging and production environments
  • Recommend new technologies to improve system and network security and automation
  • Ensure that all installed applications are utilized in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines; suggest new policies as appropriate
  • Manage various rational databases and graph database including data integrity and performance turning
  • Monitor customer facing web applications and systems

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at every level of the organization as well as with vendors and support techs.
  • Must be able and willing to work on a rotating schedule which may include nights and weekends.
  • Must be willing to learn new technologies.
