Overview:As a Java Developer, you will use your intermediate or senior-level knowledge in open-source technologies to write code to support business requirements and develop REST APIs for Microservices architecture. While not required, experience with Scala (or the willingness to learn) will be beneficial. Additional Information – New York OnlyThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $110k-$125k/year & benefits (see below). Responsibilities- Write code using Java 8 features like streams and respective functions
- Develop and implement REST APIs for Microservices architecture
- A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- A seasoned Java Developer with 6+ years experienced in Java and related open-source technologies
- Knowledgeable in Multithreading, Collections & Concurrency
- Experienced with Spring frameworks
- Experienced working in the Investment Banking/Capital Markets domain
- Experience in Scala (or are willing to learn)
