Job DescriptionTitle: Java Production Support ManagerLocation: New York, NY (Onsite Position from day 1)

Fulltime/Contract Position Only

The Alerts Team is responsible for delivering all notifications to over 66 million households around the world. We work in a large scale (2bn+ event processing per day) distributed system comprised in part of Cassandra, Kafka, Java, Cockroach DB, Hadoop, and Kubernetes. Our software has a real impact on customers globally, who depend on us to build reliable, robust, and efficient software to ensure their banking experience is seamless.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceProvide additional support to existing production support procedures.Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, DBA and application teams.Provide regular status reports to management on application status and other metrics.Collaborate with management to improve and customize reports related to production support.Prioritize issues raised and resolve it accordingly.Coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues.Report promptly to management and business partners regarding critical outages until resolution.Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplinesUnderstanding of architecture and design across all systemsWorking proficiency in developmental toolsetsKnowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practicesAbility to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.Passionate about building an innovative culture.Proficiency in one or more modern programming languagesUnderstanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Preferred Qualifications:15+ Years’ experience performing Support manager role10+ Years’ experience integrating test cases into the CI/CD pipeline.Experience Developing with Java / SpringExperience Developing in a Micro Service ArchitecturesExperience Developing with Event Driven Architectures (Kafka)Experience Developing with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry)Experience with No SQL / Denormalized databases
